Our client is an internationally oriented group of companies, active in various sectors, including the staffing industry within the food sector. To manage and maintain its own vehicle fleet, the organization is looking for a motivated Automotive Mechanic. You will work on a modern and diverse fleet of approximately 200 vehicles, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Automotive Mechanic, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and technical condition of the company’s vehicle fleet. You will work in a close-knit team of 3 to 4 mechanics, where teamwork, craftsmanship, and responsibility are central.

No day is the same: from preventive maintenance and diagnostics to urgent repairs — you ensure that vehicles are safe, reliable, and in top condition to stay on the road. You will work in a dynamic environment where speed and quality go hand in hand. You have strong technical insight, think in solutions, and identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes. Thanks to your efforts, the fleet continues to perform optimally, and you directly contribute to the continuity of the organization.

What will you do?

  • Perform maintenance and repair work on a fleet of approximately 200 vehicles;
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electronic faults;
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and safety inspections;
  • Check vehicles for technical condition and roadworthiness;
  • Identify wear, defects, and technical improvement opportunities;
  • Record completed work and maintenance data;
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment;
  • Contribute to maximizing vehicle availability within daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed MBO-level education in a technical field, preferably Automotive Engineering or Commercial Vehicle Technology;
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role;
  • Technically skilled, solution-oriented, and hands-on;
  • Experience with maintenance and repair of passenger and/or commercial vehicles;
  • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle technology;
  • Proactive and flexible attitude in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong sense of responsibility with attention to safety and quality.
