JOB DESCRIPTION
As a roof specialist, you will join a close-knit, experienced team and participate in one or more projects. In these projects, your tasks are focused on renovating existing pitched roofs for housing associations. No roof is the same, resulting in constant variation in tasks. You will collaborate with your team to ensure safe and timely completion of the roofs. Specifically, the following tasks are also part of your responsibilities:
- Finishing roofs with roof tiles, greenery, steel plates, or solar panels;
- Zinc and carpentry work;
- Operating with state-of-the-art cranes and any necessary aerial work platforms;
- Installing (prefab) insulation panels;
- Removing existing roof coverings.
Overall, you will be performing specialized tasks daily within a dedicated team.
REQUIRMENTS
- Demonstrable experience as a roofer;
- Experience as a solar panel installer is a plus;
- No 9 to 5 mentality;
- An early bird;
- Precise, solution-oriented, and creative;
- A pragmatic outlook and ability to work well in a team;
- Holder of a driver’s license B;
- Holder of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one.
