JOB DESCRIPTION
In your role as a sewerage technician, you’ll tackle a varied range of tasks daily. With skill and independence, you’ll address malfunctions and emergencies in various sewer systems. Whether it’s a blocked drain or a more complex issue, you know how to handle it. In addition to resolving malfunctions, you’ll also perform minor construction work and handle repairs. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and ensure that the sewerage system is functioning optimally.
Flexibility is crucial in your job, as you’re willing to work on call. Whether it’s in the evenings, on weekends, or during holidays, you’re ready to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Effective communication skills are also essential. You’ll liaise with clients to discuss the situation and provide accurate reports on the work performed. You’ll consider the client’s needs and requirements and ensure clear communication. An additional aspect of your role is mentoring young technicians. You’ll guide them, share your knowledge and experience, and mentor them in the trade. This way, you contribute to the development of the next generation of sewerage technicians.

REQUIRMENTS
- You must have a valid driver’s license, preferably with addition E;
- Experience as a sewerage technician is required for this position;
- Experience operating a (mini) excavator is a positive attribute.
